XRD™ pads are strategically divided and positioned around the hips and seat area to provide a natural fit while maintaining a slim profile.
The design reduces bulk under your outerwear while effectively absorbing impact to the hips and tailbone area during falls.
What is XRD™?
XRD™ is a world-class impact absorption material.
When an impact occurs, its unique polymer structure instantly changes to create a protective shield that absorbs impact energy.
Lightweight, flexible, and highly effective, XRD™ provides excellent protection without limiting mobility.
Approximately 90% of the protective padding used in KARNA products features XRD™ technology.
It delivers maximum protection in a compact design while maintaining comfort and flexibility.

Fitting Instructions
We recommend trying on the shorts while wearing the same base layers you normally use on the mountain.
After putting them on, make sure the protective pads are positioned correctly.
Please take care to prevent any Velcro areas from catching on your base layers.
Size Exchange Policy
Size exchanges are available.
Please return the product with the original tags, hanger, packaging, and in the same condition as received.
Before returning, please make sure all fastening areas are properly secured.
